Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
We can assess whether your institution’s process for identifying and reporting suspicious activity is accurate, effective, and timely. Our BSA/AML team is comprised of experienced professionals who confirm if this critical control structure meets the standards put forth by the institution’s Board of Directors (BOD), Senior Management, and Regulatory Agencies.
- BSA/AML: Conduct an independent assessment of the bank’s performance with the recordkeeping, reporting, and anti-money laundering responsibilities established under the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulations, as well as related regulations established by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
- System Validation: Validate the programming of the automated transaction monitoring system used for suspicious activity monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Look-Back Review: As a qualified and independent party, work with your financial institution to assess whether suspicious activity involving accounts or transactions through the Bank were identified and reported in accordance with all applicable BSA reporting requirements (“Look-Back Review”).
- Forensics: Perform the due diligence assessment of traditional and non-traditional acquisitions, as well as sensitive investigations, such as internal and external fraud.
