I would give a do-it-yourself guide on most DStv decoders XtraView configuration in this tutorial. I may not cover every DStv decoder. However, my guide will help you configure any xtraview-capable DStv decoder, old, new, and future. You will be exposed to valuable tips to aid a successful connection while combining the various decoders.
DStv XtraView is A cost-effective and flexible solution that allows two XtraView capable DStv decoders to be linked together in one household at the cost of a single subscription plus a monthly access fee is equivalent to the one currently payable for SD PVR and Dual View decoder functionalities.
XtraView allows you to increase the number of TV channels that can be viewed simultaneously in your home without paying an additional subscription.
Table of Contents
XtraView allows two qualifying decoders to be linked together in one household without paying two full subscriptions. Depending on the allowed decoder combination, you can get up to three different channels on three different TV’s at the same time: 1110 – 1110: This option gives you two different channels in two different rooms with all the interactive applications (such as SuperSport Active & Weather 24) in both rooms.
Because xtraview installation, if done the right way, is easy, why do people still run into problems when trying to set up xtraview on their DStv accounts? Below are some of the reasons why.
You can either use a diplexer in the normal or reversed way. This largely depends on whether you are sending the heartbeat pulse to the SLNB or receiving it.
For example, suppose you want to use two Explora 1 for xtraview. In that case, the Primary decoder will need the diplexer, and the other will get heartbeat via a cable connected to the RF ports on each decoder.
However, if you want to eliminate the need for a separate heartbeat cable and the decoders are all in different rooms, you need two diplexers.
There is only one way to connect a Diplexer, which is the right way!
You cannot couple/combine a signal between the ANT port and the SAT port without introducing excessive loss because those ports should have an isolation of 30dB!
Also, the direction of the signal flow determines which port should be used! (I/O or SAT).
A Diplexer is a frequency-sensitive device used for the one-way signal flow. A Diplexer is not a Duplexer, nor is it a splitter or a combiner!
The labels on some diplexers are odd due to the predominantly Chinese manufacturers.
Here’s the correct usage from Aerial King for normal and reverse (when RF-cabling HB (HeartBeat) distribution needs to be created) diplexer use;
ANT (S1) – connects to the RF In or Out port (depending on the user’s needs)
I/O (PX) – connects to the LNB’s cable coming from the dish
SAT (S2) – connects to the LNB input port
ANT (S1) – connects to the RF coaxial cable you will be routing
I/O (PX) – connects to the LNB input port
SAT (S2) – connects to the LNB’s cable coming from the dish
Below are some imperative requirements for matching and mismatched DStv extra view capable decoders.
The “heartbeat” is the communication sent every 30 seconds from the primary decoder to the secondary decoder via the RF cable connecting the two decoders. The “heartbeat” cable does not carry voltage, and the decoders communicate with each other via a 7MHz signal.
We are now at the business end of this post. This is the section where I would illustrate how to set up extra view on individual DStv decoders. As you might have known, DStv removed the RF-IN/OUT from Explora 3A. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t do an XTRAview.
In case you don’t already know, the default settings within both decoders are the same. By extension, this will cause the two decoders to interfere with each other. Therefore, you must change the default network settings on the secondary decoder. To do this, follow the steps below.
As a reminder, the Explora 3A is not the best PVR ever released by DStv. This is so because RF distribution is not possible easily with this decoder. So, if RF distribution is important to your installation, it is better to get an Explora 2A Instead.
IF RF is required from a 3A, you must use an external RF remodulator.
The diagram above explains it all.
Tips to Note: The Explora 3A has no RF port. Therefore, you can only feed the HB signal via the SLNB cabling and the SLNB. Also, because the series 4 HD decoder cannot receive the HB signal via the Unicable port, it must first be extracted using a Diplexer (not a duplexer) and then connected to either the RF IN or RF OUT port. Alternatively, you can do the heartbeat of the old way of cable to cable without a diplexer.
From the steps in the image above, what you need to add is the settings below:
Footnote: When using the older decoders, you cannot successfully get the HB working via the LNB cabling. The HB via the LNB cabling is designed for use with the Explora decoders and with the HD single-view decoders from the 5-Series and newer.
To use the Explora 1 as a primary decoder, where Explora 2A will be the secondary via the Smart LNB, you must connect a diplexer at the back of the Explora 1. Of course, we all know that the Explora model 2A has a built-in diplexer. Diplexers are available at most stores that deal with installation needs.
I recommend using Explora 2A as primary when you combine Explora 1 and 2a. The Explora 2A is best for Primary power-wise as well.
The following choices with Explora 2A as Primary will not give a problem;
However, a problem was found by when trying Explora 2A + series 4 + series 5.
I don’t know the one that failed. But it is most likely the 5 series that will cause the problem. This is because it has caused more issues than anything else with XtraView for a long time. So take note of the above combination.
Warning!! Both decoders must be on all the time (connected up and powered up and at least working or on standby), as these decoders cannot supply enough power to power the SLNB on their own. the SLNB was designed to be used with the Explora decoders.
The HB these days can run between any for the RF ports, it depends on what you want to do with the RF signal if anything. So just for HB RF IN to RF IN is okay.
Moreover, with this setup, you need two have two separate xtraview subscriptions, with the single view on its own.
To mitigate these hassles, you could upgrade to an Explora plus a HD decoder 5 or 6 series( single view) and get all this on one subscription now. At least one of the decoders must be an Explora 2A though.
Connecting two Explora decoders has always been easy. The diagram above illustrates how you can connect Explora 3a and 1 for xtraview. For clarification, the image above has been interpreted below:
I presume the Explora 1 is set to use User band 0,1,2, which is the decoder 1 settings?
Set the Explora 3A to use decoder 2 settings as per the installation wizard.
As you can see from the diagram above, one of the Explora 3A is set as the primary decoder. In this setup, there is no need for any heartbeat cable. You only need to do the followings:
In this setup, it is better to use Explora 1 as the primary decoder.
The 5U and the 5S decoders only work correctly with an SLNB LMX 500, 501, 502. These decoders no longer have RF ports, so RF distribution becomes tricky. The decoders are designed to be installed in the rooms where TVs are and work best with TVs equipped with HDMI ports.
The LMX 502 can only be used for a two-decoder installation with Unicable capable decoders.
1. The 5 series decoders are designed by default to work with a unicable connection and the new “Uniview” Xtraview installation method.
2. If the older Xtraview installation method is chosen, then a diplexer used in reverse mode must be installed behind the 5 series decoder.
3. The 5-series decoders will work with any SATCR/UNICABLE satellite source, whether it is the 5-2 switch, the 24-1Z switch, or the three models of SLNB available.
4. HB cannot be fed via the 5-2 switch. Therefore, if this is the only source of a satellite connection available, then the old way of doing HB must be used, which means a diplexer must be used behind the 5 series decoder to inject the HB into the LNB port.
5. If Explora 1 is one of the decoders in the Xtraview combination, AND the older Xtraview connection method is used, it is always better not to try and feed the heartbeat via the LNB cabling.
6. IF the HB is fed via the LNB cabling, then either an SLNB or a 24-1Z switch must be used, and a diplexer MUST be installed behind the Explora 1 to inject/extract HB into/from the LNB cabling.

Hi Lemmy Quick question. Do I need a Diplexer to connect two exploras namely Model3A( primary) and Model3B(secondary) in my connection and where do I put it?
hi Lemmy
I want to change the primary decoder (a) which is setup in the main-bedroom, to the decoder (b) in the lounge. (due to loadshedding it now makes sense to have the lounge as primary on battery backup).
This decoder (b) feeds a second bedroom which is how we planned it (using an eye to change channels). This (b + b2) connection must stay as is.
We also have a third decoder (c) which means we pay for 3 separate views in our house. Decoder (c) must stay as is. I’m guessing it receives its signal from (a), which I am guessing it might need to now receive from (b)?
We pay for 3 separate viewing channels, with (c) being single view. I thought I could ask dstv to just swop what they have as (a) and (b), but they hinted I might need an installer! Do you think I would need an installer before I ask them to swop (a) and (b)? thanks in advance.
Good day Dear DStv.
Please how may I disconnect my 3 decoders from extra view. Kindly help to resolve thanks.
@TAJUDEEN: IT HAS ALREADY BEEN EXPLAINED. However, if you don’t owb a dstv decoder, you will not understand
Hi guys, what do i need to connect my explora ultra and 4u decoder with a 2port smart lnb if it is possible
Please Am using xplora2A with Xplora2A, for extra view does it required cable for heart beatHi Lemmy please I need your help my number is 08064401191 I have a DStv with model 4S how can I get software for these model I restore the decoder so it can be upgrade again please what can I do
Hi, I recently bought the new Explora Ultra as I was using the Explora 2A. I made the Explora Ultra the primary and the Explora 2A the secondary on extra view but the secondary keeps saying its waiting for communication from the primary. What could be the problem?
@PaUL: Have you paid for the xtraview fee? you may need to call MC to confirm your subscription status
Thanks a lot. I have an Explora and an HD 4S, couldn’t understand why the pulse wasn’t reaching. The Diseqc Switch I used to use for connecting a free to air decoder to two dishes has worked, thanks to your post.
Hi Lemmy. I have a 4U and 6S DStv decoders as well as a smart LNB, and I’d like to do an extraview setup, is it gonna work without using a diplexer connection?
Hello, I have an Explorer 2 (I think) and HD PVR as my secondary decoder. The extraview setup has been changed since a power cut with multiple switch on and off in quick succession. I unplugged both decoders and when stable power was restored, plugged both in. Primary Explorer decoder is fine, but secondary HD PVR not. I can establish a heartbeat, but think LNB frequencies may have changed. Please advise what secondary decoder frequencies should be for LNB Lo Freq, LNB Hi frequency and LNB Switch frequency for secondary decoder. I look forward to receiving your assistance.
Hi Lenny I have Xtra View set with my Explorer 3B as my primary decoder and Explorer 3A as my secondary decoder. I have a Smart LNB and a Diplexer. How do I set my cabling with or without the Diplexer. Many Thanks
Good day Lennny I have the latest model as a primary decoder , my secondary decoder is a 4U (the one with RF in and RF out) , how do I connect the communication cable using a diplexer?
Dear Lemmy I have an Explorer as primary decoder and a 1110 as secondary. I have connected the Explorer 1 to the Smart LNB Port A. Smart LNB Port B to the Diplexer I/O. SAT on the diplexer to the LNB In on the 1110 and Ant to the RF Input on the Explorer 1. Is this set-up correct ?
Hi lemmy. I have two Model 6S decorders and one is Primary, the other secondary. Im using a universal LNB, can the dstb switch 5-1 be used as a signal combiner(diplexer) or I’ll still need a diplexer for the HB between the decorders?
Good day Lemmy I had a 2a primary and explora 1 as secondary xstraview setup installation with rf outs to two bedrooms. 2a decoder hard drive caved and i replaced with 3a decoder. I installed a modulator with rf out to 1bedroom on the 3a working fine. Except the tv link remote eye on rf now not working? The secondary decoder i setup with a diplexer. Previous heart beat cable was installed now not used. Just lying behind the primary decoder. Now the rf out to the 2nd bedroom doesnt want to work. Changed the channel frequency of the channels as well. Modulator on 63 and secondary decoder on 40. Retuned tv and still nothing.
@Nita Swanepoel: why are you using a modulator for extraview setting? it is not needed. all you need is SLNB, Diplexer(where applicable), userband freqiency and your heartbeat
Hi Lenny. Please can you assist me with my setup. I have a 3 decoder setup on my premises.
2 decoders in my main house and 1 decoder in a separate granny flat. The main house has its own Dish and the Granny flat has a separate dish. The main house Dish has a twin LNB with two cables running to a DSTV Switch (Model No 24-1Z) and the Granny flat dish has an SLNB with a unicable running to the decoder in the Granny flat. The decoders in the main house is an Explora 3A and a DSTV Explora 1 and the decoder in the Granny flat is a DSTV Explora 2. I also have a Space TV SLX-3X2 available as I used it with my previous setup. Any assistance you can provide will greatly be appriciated.
Hi Pierre, Curious to know whether you have been successful with your xtraview setup between your three decoders? I have the same setup and currently have the two decoders in the main house on xtraview. The granny flat has its own dish, LNB and decoder and ideally I do not want to run a cable between the main house and the granny flat. Is there a way to bring this decoder into the setup as the third xtraview decoder via its own dish and LNB?
@HUGH STEWART: IF YOU ARE IN SOUTH AFRICA, YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL WITH YOUR SETUP BY FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE How to Connect Three DStv Decoders for Xtraview/Extra View Under one Subscription
Hi Lemmy Thanks for your reply. I did read through this guide before posting my question and understand how to go about. The crux of my question, however, is the third decoder which is in a separate granny flat with its own dish and LNB. So the question remains…is there any way that I can incorporate this third decoder with its own dish and LNB into my Extraview account without having to bring a cable from the main LNB to the granny flat. Thanks
@hugh: you need to connect the three decoders to the main subscription using two xytraview access. the xtraview decoders need the primary decoders to broadcast tv channels. There is a standard for doing this. i don’t think you can officially separate them, sir. You most likely need to bring all the cables from the slnb
Thank you Lemmy….I was hoping that there may be technology available to wirelessly send the heartbeat signal from the primary decoder (or LNB) to the granny flat so that a physical cable is not necessary.
@charles: 3a, of course, would be the primary decoder. unfortunately, I don’t know if 3u is compatible with SLNB
Good day have explora 1 and 6series hd decoder running connection to SLNB is there any need for duplexer to do extra view ?
Hi there Lemmy, thnx in advance for your wise contribution. My problem here is that I have two single dsd’s, one 1131 and the other one 6s.Is it possible to make xtraview with the two, if so, how do you do it? Radira.
@radira: the dsd 1131 is a hugely outdated decoder. you may experience compatibility issues down the line
@radira Robert: your best bet is to get any of their newer models be it their had decoder of the explora 3a. There is a price slash on the DStv HD decoder at the moment.
Thank you so much,am trying to learn DIY. I have a Decoder 5u and 4s, So should i run a cable from port A on the SLNB to the LNB input port on Decorder 5s(which is the primary), Then run a cable from port B on the SLNB to I/0 (px) on the diplexer, run a cable from ANT(S1) on the diplexer to RF In on the secondary decoder and another cable from SAT(s2) on the diplexer to LNB input on the secondary decoder? If That’s it,how far should be the distance between the Diplexer and The secondary decoder ? The two decoders are in different rooms
Hi Lemmy, thank you so much for your guide in DSTV extra view. I have a 4u decorder and a 5s decirder. How do i do the extra view connections and which decorder should be Primary ? I have bought a smart lnb and diplexer . Kindly help
Hi. I have HD PVR 2P and HD model 5S.How do I connect this correctly since they were both connected directly from the smart LNB and it was working just fine. Now model 5s is not working.
Hi Lemmy, Currently we have a Extraview setup that includes a HD 6S decoder as secondary and a Explora 3A decoder as the primary and this setup is working as it should. However, we are trying to add a HD PVR 2 P decoder as a 2nd secondary. Would the HD PVR 2 P work in this three-decoder ExtraView setup? Thank you, Sainty
Hi Lemmy, I’ve gone through all your posts and they’ve been very educative, but I’m still confused. I have an explorer 1 and a DSD 4S decoder. How do I get a successful extraview? Do I fix a diplexer close to the DSD 4u? Thanks.
Good day Sir, How do I get an old dsd 3u decoder to run of a dual smartcore lnb as I’m nor allowes to change to the standard universal lnb type? Is this possible to run of unicable port
Hello, I have a explora and HD decoder. I used to have 2 cables from dish into a switch and thus had dualview. I now moved to a complex with just one cable out the wall box . My explora works fine. How do I connect dual view using this single cable. Thanks
Hi Lemmy
I have an Xplora 2A and HD 4U, How do I connect for extra view without running the HB cable from the Xplora to the HD 4U decoder?
On some of your posts you mentioned a diplexer, can’t I use one? because running the HB cable will be a hassle, the primary decoder is downstairs and the secondary upstairs
Thank you very much my brother, I managed to run the HB cable straight from the primary decoder to the secondary decoder and it’s playing now.
@Muzi: You are welcome.Hi Lemmy, ive got 3 explora 3a’s in an extraview setup. the trick is that this is a MUD installation. I have a 24-z1 switch which connects the explores, but I only have one LNB feed coming in. when connecting the LNB feed to the vertical/low of the switch, all 3 decoders receive signal. my question is, can the switch operate on only one feed?
@James: What error are you getting. You need one subscription and two xtraview access subscriptions for this to work remember? read this for more info How to Connect Three DStv Decoders for Xtraview/Extra View Under one Subscription
How do I connect xplora 1 with new HD DSD D and with SLNB tho I don’t know the SLNB mode ? How do I connect it with Diplexer ?
@Biodun: what’s the model name of the HD decoder. You need a heartbeat cable or a diplexer for your explora 1
Hi Lemmy.. please help.. I have an Xplora 3a and an HD decoder 4s with Xtraview connection and I wanna add another decoder.. I will probably get the newer ones.. what do I need for a 3way connection? My Smart LNB has 2 ports
Hi Lemmy, I have two Explora 1 decoders and have subscribed for Xtraview.
Am using a Unicable Quad 40mm LNB (2 legacy ports) and DSTV Switch (5-1)
Also, how do I connect the heart beat cable – can I use RF-OUT (primary decoder) to RF -IN (secondary decoder). Thank you
hi 1 question. I have a explora 3 as the primary decoder and my secondary decoder are a 4U. Can I use them like that? a local guy tell me I cant. And then how do I connect it?
@Stephen: it is a problematic combination. i will recommend you get the 6s or call a dstv installer to help you. most times, you loose signal with that combination after the whole process.
I have 4s decoder connected to 6s decoder via Smart LNB is possible to do xtraview cos im getting message of no communication..is Smart LNB enough to perform Xtraview i do not anything else?
Hi Lemmy It’s me again, I would have used the SLNB, but the issue is that I’m not allowed to install my own dish, neither to change the cummunal system installed. So I was just wondering if I cannot other switches to achieve my mission
Hi Lemmy, I’m staying in a complex and I have Xplora 3A and 5s decoder in the other room connected the 5-2 switch on the Xplora 3A as primary, but can’t seem to be able to get HB to the 5s in the bedroom.
Hi Lenny
I would like to find out how to connect the Dstv DSD 111O as Primary and the Dstv 6s as secondary on smart Lnb as now the secondary keeps on saying it doesn’t get signal from primary decoder even though I understand it doesn’t need one.
The primary is connected on the universal port and the secondary is connected on port A of the smart Lnb,what is the correct connection procedure.
Hi lemmy can you assist with the installation for the explora 1 as tge primary and tge explora 3a,as the secondary, i did it the same as the pictures that you left on your page when you use the 3a as the primary, is this the right way.
Hi Lemmy, I recently swapped my HDPVR for an Explora3A in an extra view setup with a 4U HD single view decoder only to find that I now also need a diplexer for the heartbeat signal. Instead of doing that I am considering upgrading the 4U to a 6S single view decoder. If I do this will I need to move the single view feed onto a UniCable port on the LNB instead of universal port where the 4U is currently connected. Can you confirm that this will work without the need for additional hardware. I have a 501 LNB installed at present. If I do this do I need to terminate the universal output of the LNB or does it stay open.
Hy uhm I have a 3A primary and a 6S secondary extraview with a Dual Smart LNB and a diplexer how do I set it up, replacing the old dual lnb
Hi Lemmy, I had a Single View 4U decoder and the old 4 tuner HD PVR running with the heartbeat running through the RF ports. The HD PVR has finally failed and I will have to replace it with an Explora 3 or 3A. I have a 501 LNB installed. Can I use the current single view and the Explora in an Extra View setup with the heartbeat going via the LNB?
Your advice will be much appreciated.
Hi there Lemmy, Where can we buy a diplexer? We have asked everywhere but nobody supply them.
We have the explora 1 and bought a new explora 3a, so we need the diplexer to get the extra view as the 3a does not have the correct port as the 2a model.
I have explora 1 and dsd 1110 decoders and I would like to setup extra view as I’m already paying for it on the explora. I have smart lnb with 4uni and 2universal please help with hardware and software installation
Hi, I bought two zapper without rf. and smart LNB. I have successfully setup xtra view on one of the decoders. i have got other rooms with TV sets i would like to extend viewing on . Please without rf port on these decoders , how do i achieve this task. Thanks.
i have 2 single view hd decoders…i want to set up one as a primary and the other as a secondary…how do i fit a diplexer to this system and where…can you show me diagram of setup
@mario: read through, I had images and guide on how to set up a deplexer. However, first ensure that your decoder supports Xtra view
Lemmy…….
Pls,I did an xtraview connection at my home with explora as primary and zapper as secondary however the two decoders have different dish……….
But its not working………..
Hi,I have a explora 3 and dsd 1131 and how do i connect an extra view using explora 3 as a primary decoder. I have a combiner. A diagram will help. Thanks
@Ezekiel: that combination is no longer supported sir. Please get a compatible secondary decoder such as zapper 5 or 6 decoder.
Hi Lemmy, Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the issue of no RF out would still exist with a 6S. However, i have a “spare” Explora 2a. The HDD crashed and I got an Explora 3.
I took the HDD out of the Explora 2 and now the decoder is gathering dust in the garage. Can i replace the HDD (2.5 Sata drive I imagine)? Is it just a simple “plug in” and boot up process? Will the decoder format and partition the drive automatically? Thanks
@Chris: why do you need RF? using RF successfully and officially requires you to visit DStv office for their social discount for hotels and similar organizations that needs to connect multiple rooms. Otherwise, you may need to limit yourself to using slnb to create the heartbeat
HD PVR 2P Decoder to Xtra View with S6 decoder Hi I have a pvr 2p decoder as the primary. How do I add the S6 as the xtraview since it has no RF ports. Do i use a diplexer behind the PVR 2P to send one cable to S6. Please help.
Morning,
I had an Explora 1 and DSD 1132 connected as Xtraview. Smart LNB installed. Heartbeat betweeb Explora and 1132. Explora Primary. The Explora “crashed” and I replaced with Explora 3. Can I use a Diplexer to connect the 1132 to the Explora 3 for HB and signal? I need the 1132 as it has RF out and the secondary TV (xtraview) is not an HD TV (Old RF In) Thanks
Good Day I had two Explora 2A as both Primary and Secondary decoders, I have just replaced the secondary decorder with the Explora 3A. However, I keep losing signal on the new secondary decorder. I also now see that I have two cables that can not be connected into the new Explora 3A. How do I connect Decorder -Explora 3A with the other cables.
Hie
I just exchanged my old 1110 which i was runninng on a twin lnb fot extra view to my 4 series and got the new 6s
My question is can i use the same lnb…with a diplexer on the 6s and the 4series for extra view….
Please advise
Hi Lemmy Morgan
I got An EXPLORA 3A & DSD1131 Decoders, should I run Separate cables from the SLNB for each decoder or how will I get the heartbeat.? Diagram assist will be good, thanks Morgan.
Hi Lemmy I have a Explora 1 as Primary and HD 4U Single view decoder and. Smart LNB. Been working fine without heartbeat cable but all of a sudden wont work. Was told I need to buy new Explora.. Bought Explora 2 and want touse to replace the HD 4U Single view. Should I use Diplexer and which decoder should be Principal..
I thank you.
Hi, I have Explora1 as primary and explora 2 as second, connected via unicables to the 5-2 switch, connected via 4 cables to the LNB. My explora 2 has gone faulty, so I am buying a new explora 3 (cannot get model 2 any more). Can I use a diplexer in line with the explora3 unicable, while connecting the RF port to the explora1 Rf output for the heartbeat, keeping explora 1 as primary? Thanks.
You guys are awsome… I fixed my E143 problem.Hi I have 6s decoder as my primary & another 6s as my secondary they were install, after 2 hours my secondary was showing E143 & it is connected with smart LNB no diplexer. So can you please help me
pls how can i use one dstv decoder for 2 Tvs?because i ready use the hdmi port for viewing and the av port for audio to my HT , and i want to watch my Dstv in my room using the same decoder in my living room,so how can i do that, or will the diplexer work that?
I bought a dual LNB tried to install it last night but got no signal. i thought it was just plug and play?
my primary decoder is normal dstv HD decoder and i have an extra one same as dstv HD decoder.
my plan was to make the spare decoder a extra view one for the boys room but it lost signal. is there some frequency i need to change on primary decoder and second decoder?
@Marcelloe porthen: 3rd party LNBS can never be plug and play with dstv decoders. go and buy their smart LNB. Thanks
Good day sir, please I need help. I already had DSTV Explora decoder, so i got the new DSTV 6S HD Decoder as the secondary decoder, but the installer has not been successful to get my extra view working. I have the Smart LNB(separate cables run from UNICABLE A & B ports to the Explora and the 6S decoder respectively), he also said I wouldn’t need the diplexer. After the installation, with all the manual setup settings and several troubleshooting only the Explora works. The 6S decoder has not worked. Please do you have any advice on this 6S decoder for extra view. Thanks
@Emannuel: it is very possible and straightforward to do. you need two xtraview subscriptions with one dstv subscription. However, I can say for sure yet if the 3-in-1 xtraview installation is now available in Nigeria
